Join us for this inaugural 2-person, same-sex, team event, where the workouts are all familiar CrossFit Girl WODs, with a twist!

A portion of the proceeds will go toward our Holistic Wellness Funding account, which covers the cost of CrossFit programs for disadvantaged populations (at-risk youth, Special Olympics athletes, the recovery community, etc.).

WOD 1 - Twisted Christine

3 rounds for time

500m row

12 “bodyweight” deadlift - 195/135 (Rx); 135/95 (Sc/Ma)

21 box jump overs - 24/20 (Sc/Ma may step up then over)

  • for each of the 3 rounds, either athlete can start the row and either athlete can start the deadlifts, but whichever athlete starts either movement must finish all the reps of that movement before the team progresses to the next movement
  • no new movement can start until the final rep of the previous movement is completed; wait for the judge's ok
  • the team may partition the box jump reps as desired, but only after an even number of reps (to ensure that the first athlete completes the previous rep before the second athlete starts a new rep)

WOD 2 - Twisted Fran

sandbag thrusters — 60/40 (Rx); 40/30 (Sc/Ma)

pull ups (Rx); ring rows (Sc/Ma)

  • Partners may partition any of the reps of either movement as desired

WOD 3 - Twisted Nancy

4 rounds for time

400m run with sandbag — 60/40 (Rx); 40/30 (Sc/Ma)

15 overhead alternating lunges — 95/65 (Rx); 65/45 (Sc/Ma)

  • Both teammates run together, partitioning the carrying of the one sandbag as desired
  • Both athletes must be back in their lane before the OH lunges begin
  • Partners may partition the lunges as desired, but each athlete must alternate his/her reps

Finals WOD - Twisted Karen

for the top 3 teams on each division 

150 wallballs — 20/14 (Rx); 14/10 (Sc/Ma)

  • Partners may partition the reps as desired 
  • There will be 3 scores for this WOD: (1) the first athlete’s unbroken first set; (2) the second athlete’s unbroken first set; and (3) the total time to finish all 150 reps
